he Northern California Music & Art Culture Center (formerly known as the S. F. Art Center) is an organization serving as a model for what a cultural organization can accomplish by sharing and exchanging music and art. As a model, NCMACC is a center for quality music and art supporting the development of exceptional, talented young artists while fulfilling the cultural and educational needs of a diverse population with music and art.
The launching of the center in the fall of 1991 was the culmination of an ambitious effort by two female Korean-American musicians of San Francisco to build an exemplary music and art center both for the community and for musicians and artists around the world. From the beginning, NCMACC has focused on providing quality education. In order to fulfill the center’s primary goal – to develop and support fine artists in their exploration of music and art – the daily objective of the center remains focused on quality education. To aid that end, NCMACC is sustained by community support, contributions from individuals and board members, and tuition from the program.
The center has earned continuous trust, interest, and support from the community throughout the years, and as a result, NCMACC has gained a reputation for being a solid organization with quality professional artists, musicians, and groups that perform cross-culturally.
Our mission is to support young musicians and artists who will continue to meet the cultural and educational needs of a diverse population.
